Players like David Matthew Murphy he was born October 18, 1981, in his home town Houston, Texas. He is a Major League Baseball outfielder with the playing for Texas Rangers. He first played high school baseball with some fellow Major League Baseball player Josh Barfield, at their alma mater Klein High School, and played also in college baseball at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. He a rookie and was drafted in the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft by the Boston Red Sox. In 2007 Murphy was eventually traded to the Texas Rangers.
